Plastic Buddha is a film and video production company working on projects for broadcast, cinema, DVD release, web, and corporate communication.

At Plastic Buddha we strive to bring integrity to an industry often criticised for the lack of it. We create drama, documentary, and corporate films. We also have an empowerment tool called Peoples’ Voice, which encourages under-represented groups to express themselves through film.

A project by Bristol-based creatives that has inspired a generation of filmmakers in Africa has scooped the BBC One World Award for New Media. The ground-breaking website http://www.our-africa.org/ was the brainchild of SOS Children’s Villages, the largest agency in the world that deals with orphans and abandoned children. The website is the charity’s celebration of working for 40 years in Africa.
