Plastic Buddha is a film and video production company working on projects for broadcast, big screen and DVD release and for corporate communication.
At plastic buddha we strive to bring integrity to an industry often criticised for the lack of it. We create drama, documentary, and corporate films. And we have an empowerment tool called Peoples’ Voice, which encourages under-represented groups to express themselves through film.
Latest news:
We celebrated our fifth anniversary in December 09 and since then we have been astonishingly busy!
So far this year we have been on location in Thailand, Kenya, Kosovo, Holland, Provence and Sweden. In the next couple of months we will be in the USA, Central America, Africa and hopefully Bangladesh.
Alongside this we have also had a healthy portfolio of work at home - especially with our participatory project PEOPLES VOICE - working with Universities, environmental organisations and human rights groups.
And our first feature film BAD COMPANY, directed by Jason King, has started appearing on the festival circuit – being nominated as Best British Film at the Falstaff International Festival in Stratford on Avon.
Samples of some of our latest work will be appearing on the OUR WORK pages of this site in the coming days.
